Final Reflection Paper

Filed under: Reflection — amayala @ 10:31 pm

Using the blog site, post a reflection about the progress you made in your writing during high school. View all of your writing samples, note their strengths and weaknesses. In which areas did you improve? In which type of writing style did you excel? If you had to write the paper over again, what would you change? What is a weakness in your writing that you see now as you are beginning to graduate?

In this section, students are required to post a writing sample from Grade 11. A good example might be a literary criticism essay or a research paper. Certainly, students may post more than one example from 11th grade if they wish. Follow the same directions.

Writing Sample #2

In this section, students will be posting one piece of academic writing from Grade 10. It should be a different type of writing than the writing sample chosen from Grade 9. It is recommended that a persuasive essay be used for this writing sample. Follow the same directions that you used for the Grade 9 posting.

Writing Sample #1

In this section, students will be required to post one piece of academic writing from their 9th grade year. The piece of writing should be edited and in final draft form. Preface your post by using the blog as an introduction. Then attach your MS Word doc below by browsing for your writing sample on your USB. Remember–the purpose of a digital portfolio is to showcase your work! Make it look nice! Put your best face forward! Choose a font that is easily transferrable to any computer to avoid spacing issues.
